Paint Your Own Pot

A Ceramic Painting Workshop

2 hr

Our workshops are returning after the monsoon with Paint Your Own Pot, a relaxed ceramic painting workshop for anyone who enjoys colour, creativity and the quiet joy of making by hand. Join us on Sunday, 2nd November from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM at House of Iki, a pottery studio set on a peaceful farm. Spend a slow morning surrounded by nature as you choose from a selection of pre-made bisque pots (clay pieces that have already been shaped, dried and fired once) and paint them with your own designs and brushstrokes. Once your piece is complete, it will be coated in a transparent glaze and fired again, making it fully functional and food-safe. We’ll provide everything you need: underglaze colours, brushes, tools, glazing and firing of one piece, along with tea, coffee or juice to sip while you paint. Come spend a gentle morning surrounded by art, clay and the calm of the countryside.
